Of Salt + Sea

The cure to all of the heart’s desires lives in the whispers of the waters at your feet. She tells us to slow down, to adjust to the push and pull of the world. She tells you the sweat and tears will dissipate to a calm tide which can become predictable and easy to listen to, but only if you’re open and mindful. Be wary of the storms, for the salt + the sea is not just that. Storms never last too long. And, once she passes, she will leave periwinkles and pieces of blue and green seaglass and whelks at the shores. All for you. Little treasures. Look for those treasures, for they will be everywhere you go.
